Science Learning Centre North East was officially opened on 4th November 2005 by Tony Blair, Prime Minister.
The Centre is dedicated to providing continuing professional development for science teachers, technicians and teaching assistants. It is a brand new facility which boasts a full wireless network, extensive video conferencing facilities, interactive whiteboards and a fully equipped science laboratory.
